This demo assumes you have a domain name registered through Domainstie.com and starts from their home page.

Domain name transfers must be initiated at the NEW REGISTRARS WEBSITE, that is, the website for the domain registrar where you want your domain name transferred to.

HOWEVER you must first ensure that your domain name is NOT LOCKED or being prevented from being transferred out of this registry.

To check that your domain name is not locked, click on the MY ACCOUNT link at the top of the screen on the right.

Enter you’re your DomainSite.com USERNAME and PASSWORD in the boxes provided for returning customers.

Click SUBMIT.

You are now logged in.

Click on the SELECT button next to the text “MANAGE REGISTERED DOMAIN NAMES.”

Then, click on the DOMAIN NAME for which you want to remove the registry lock.

Click the UNLOCK DOMAIN LINK.

Your domain name has now been unlocked.

Now, go to to the website of the domain name registrar you wish to transfer to and initiate a DOMAIN TRANSFER REQUEST.

When finished, click the LOG OUT link.
